An active ring module is used to indicate errors with an Arduino. With this active ring, just offer a voltage, no frequency.
This active ring has an internal oscillation source that triggers an alarm when it is turned on.
If you have a system or other system / chip that can provide limited current, you need a transistor for control. The transistor is already present on this module, making it easy to use.
