This module equipped with a Hall effect sensor delivers a voltage proportional to the magnetic field present near the sensor. This phenomenon is used in particular for the detection of non-contact passage such as, for example, a rev counter. Connected to an analog input of an Arduino board, a value between 0 and 1023 is obtained.
