The LED Matrix consists of 8 rows and 8 columns.
The matrix can be assimilated to a 1D array of 8 elements, each element of the array is encoded on 8 bits Ex B00001111 or 0x0F, in the figure below illustrates the transition from an 8 × 8 array to a 8-element array Type Bye or Unsigned char. We will see in the following the function that allows to display the code in the matrix 8 × 8.
The module used is based on MAX7219 with a serial link for the data. The SPI bus consists of three wires:
CS: Chip Select for model activation
CLK: the synchronous clock for data. The clock sets the serial data transmission speed
DIN: The serial data on 8 bits
